Isabel Marant Comes To H&M

We don't know about you, but we have been loving Fashion Week with Paris' Fashion Week being our favourite by far. One collection which stood out to us was that of Isabel Marant, the French fashion designer who is responsible for the wedge trainer, the cropped jean and embellished jackets. She made these amazing fashion statements what they are today. Her S/S 2014 collection at Paris' Fashion Week was breathtakingly beautiful with a romantic French feel with leather and lace, ruffles and frayed denim. Pastel pinks, whites and black dominated the catwalks. One of our favourite outfits was that worn by Georgia May Jagger, a loose pale pink dress with a tied ribbon around the waist. We could totally see ourselves walking around Paris in this outfit.

On November 14th Isabel Marant will be bringing her collection to H&M and we are so excited. Her range will include a mix of different elements, creating a style that is urban and effortless. Boho elegance meets a rock n' rolln spirit with this new affordable collection, which is set the hit the high street by storm.

Here is a sneak peak at the highly anticipated collection:

These are a few of our favorite things

As a nice way to introduce ourselves, here are our five things we just couldn't possibly live without.......

Maria:

1.  Great Lash Mascara by Maybelline
Mascara is definitely one thing I could not live without! Maybelline's Great Lash Mascara is my ultimate favourite after years of searching. Unlike other mascara's it does not clump and leaves your lashes looking thick and longer.

2. River Island Studded Cream holdall

This River Island studded cream holdall is so gorgeous and fits everything but the kitchen sink. I actually bought it for Pini for Christmas but then stole it off her (shhh don't tell her).

3. My books

I admit it, I am a big time book worm. I always have a book in my bag and my favourite novel is The Great Gatsby. After first reading it during English Literature A level I haven't been able to put it down since.

4. GHD's

I have had my GHD's for over five years and in my opinion there are no hair straighteners that work better than these. They leave your hair feeling sleek and shiny and can create amazing curls too.

5. Samsung Galaxy S2

I know I am probably the only person in the world who hates iPhone's, but to me they are just too small and I just don't understand all the hype with them. I could not live without my Samsung Galaxy S2, it has the same features of an iPhone and it is a lot cheaper.

Pini:

1. Chocolate.

Chocolate is one thing I can not possibly live without. I like any Milk Chocolate- Dark, Orange or Mint Chocolate can stay where it is, I'm not interested. White Chocolate is accepted, but I use that more as an emergency back up when nothing else is available.

2. Iphone 5.

I love my phone. I feel like a parent parted from it's child when the battery is dead or it is not within a hands grasp away from me, but I'm mainly putting this to annoy my sister.
We are constantly debating over who has the better phone, and whilst we both know that the iPhone wins hands down, she is still convinced that Samsung Galaxy is the way forward.
Whilst I have in occasion have had to (sadly) admit that her phone has some better apps at times, I still would much prefer my fine specimen of a phone than carrying a huge brick around with me. #teamiphone

3. Music.

I listen to music usually 70% of my day if I can, and the louder the better. I'm pretty sure my hearing will be basically non-existent by the time I'm in my 40's but for now I'm enjoying that weird ringing in my ears after a good iTunes session. I don't really have a particular favourite genre of music, I just listen to whatever floats my boat.

4. Fake Tan

I'm such a Fake tan addict.
I'm am possibly one of the palest people i've ever come across in my life, and considering I am Half Italian/Half Irish, I have never once been told that I have an Italian bone in my body. Even when I go on holiday, my Irish skin get's fried to the core and I look more like a lobster than a golden goddess. So my ever present Fake Tan is defo one of my top faves.
I've tried loads and loads and loads and looooads of different Tans over the years and I've seemed to settle on the Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs is one of the best. Don't let the name fool you, it's not just for the legs, it works great all over the body, even the face.

5. Preston.

My Cat Preston. Just Because. He already has the Selfie shot sorted.
